Email Marketing Specialist, Automation

Job Summary
In this role, you will lead the strategy development and execution for Yami’s lifecycle marketing channels, with a focus on automating email, in-app messaging, mobile push notifications, and SMS. As an advocate for customer experience, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customer engagement and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with product, tech, engagement, and data analytics teams to implement automated lifecycle marketing channels
  • Develop and execute iterative testing strategies to improve customer experience continuously (e.g. Email Trigger)
  • Create Yami-branded content tailored to various customer segments
  • Analyze customer cohorts and segments to drive growth and optimize campaigns
  • Design and test campaigns and templates that align content with customer preferences
  • Track, analyze, and optimize key metrics including CTR, open rates, revenue lift, and overall engagement


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • In-depth knowledge of data workflows, customer segmentation, automation, personalization, and ecommerce marketing best practices
  • 3+ years of experience in a retention, marketing operations, or lifecycle marketing role
  • Strong dedication to enhancing customer experience with a clear understanding of Yami’s core customer base
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Iterable or similar marketing platforms preferred
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Bilingual in Mandarin
