Job Overview:
Naturepedic is looking for a result-driven Email Marketing Manager to spearhead our
email and SMS programs, with a strong focus on customer acquisition, retention and
lifetime value growth. This role will be responsible for developing and optimizing high-
performing campaigns and automation flows that drive revenue, deepen customer
relationships and create memorable brand experiences.
The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience in lifecycle marketing and knows how to
balance strategy, execution and optimization. You should be comfortable running A/B tests,
analyzing performance data, and collaborating with teams across Content, Creative and E-
commerce. This role reports to the Senior Director of Content & Communications and helps
drive impactful messaging at every stage in the customer journey.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Execution
· Develop and execute a revenue-focused email and SMS marketing strategy to
drive acquisition, retention and repeat purchases.
· Ensure email and SMS messaging is aligned across touchpoints and personalized
based on customer behavior, preferences and lifecycle stage
· Collaborate with Content and Creative teams to develop high-converting campaign
assets, ensuring all email/SMS content aligns with our brand.
· Manage and optimize the email and SMS marketing calendar to ensure timely,
revenue-driving campaigns.
Deliverability & Database Management
· Maintain a healthy email and SMS database, ensuring lists are properly segmented
and compliant with industry regulations.
· Monitor and proactively manage deliverability, sender reputation, and
compliance with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and other relevant regulations.
· Regularly audit email and SMS lists to improve engagement, reduce churn and optimize segmentation strategies.
Optimization & Performance Analysis
· Track and analyze key performance and engagement metrics to measure campaign
effectiveness.
· A/B test subject lines, creative, timing, segmentation and content variations to
optimize for maximum ROI.
· Develop and execute strategies to increase SMS opt-ins and maintain high
engagement.
· Provide regular performance reports, translating insights into actionable
recommendations to improve future campaigns.
Technology & Innovation
· Manage relationships with email/SMS platform vendors, evaluating new
technologies to enhance automation, segmentation and customer experience.
· Identify opportunities to incorporate AI-driven personalization, predictive analytics
and dynamic content into email and SMS campaigns.
· Work closely with the E-commerce team to align email/SMS efforts with
broader CRM and retention initiatives.
Qualifications:
· 5-7 years of experience in DTC email and SMS marketing, with a proven track
record of driving revenue.
· Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and SMS tools (DotDigital and
Attentive a plus).
· Data-driven mindset with expertise in email and SMS analytics, A/B testing and
revenue attribution.
· Knowledge of deliverability best practices and compliance regulations (TCPA, CAN-
SPAM, GDPR).
· Sharp project management skills with the ability to execute and optimize multiple
campaigns simultaneously.
· Collaborative work ethic and ability to be flexible and responsive in a fast-paced
work environment.
· A passion for sustainability and organic products is a plus!
