Work Location: Mythic is headquartered in Charlotte, NC; highly qualified candidates may be considered for a fully remote role.

Mythic employees are expected to work from 9:00am-5:30pm EST, but may also require evenings and weekends as client needs dictate. Must be authorized to work in the US without corporate assistance. Must be located in the US.

Job Summary:
The Marketing Automation Specialist will support the execution and optimization of marketing campaigns across platforms like HubSpot, Marketing Cloud, and Pardot. This role will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build customer journeys, launch email campaigns, and contribute to tool assessments and process improvements.

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Technical execution within marketing automation platforms, such as HubSpot, Marketing Cloud, and Pardot including campaign launch, email development and ongoing campaign management 
  • Assist in the development of customer journeys within automation tools
  • Build and execute emails within customer journeys in the automation tool 
  • Support campaign lifecycle development and maturation
  • Assist in the development of initial automation approaches, tool assessment, and recommendations for new and existing clients
  • Coordinate with third-party marketing automation vendors, including tool providers, administrators, and technical support vendors
  • Collaborate on journey development with the strategy, account management, creative, and any third-party vendor teams, including recommendations for agency process and template improvement
  • Work with Strategy + Planning resources to understand existing persona or segmentation documentation, messaging/tone, CTA/content implications, and contribute to developing briefs for creative teams
  • Provide support as needed for new business development efforts
  • Contribute to Mythic's own campaign development and management for future business

Required Skills / Abilities:
  • 3-5 years of experience managing email marketing campaigns
  • 2-3 years in marketing automation or a related field
  • Experience with building and executing email campaigns
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data to find actionable outcomes 
  • Extensive experience with HubSpot, and basic understanding of Marketing Cloud, Pardot or other marketing automation tools
  • Basic familiarity with html email development 
  • A growth mindset - willingness to learn new tools and systems as needed
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus

Education / Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Analytics or related experience 
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing automation or a related field is preferred. 

Physical Requirements: 
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk 
  • Light work that could include carrying 5 pounds 
  • Keyboarding
