About the Role
As an Email Marketing Specialist/Strategist, you will design, implement, and optimize email campaigns that align with our marketing goals. Your role will focus on creating personalized content, leveraging data-driven insights, and utilizing cutting-edge marketing tools - including advanced capabilities within Salesforce Marketing Cloud - to engage audiences and build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and manage end-to-end email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and drip campaigns.
- Collaborate with content and design teams to create engaging, visually appealing templates.
- Segment audiences to deliver personalized messaging tailored to specific demographics and behaviors.
Content Development:
- Write, edit, and proofread email copy to align with brand voice and optimize engagement.
- Curate content that resonates with target audiences and drives conversions.
Automation, Data Management & Salesforce Marketing Cloud Expertise:
- Manage email automation workflows using platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Develop and execute complete, multi-step journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to nurture leads and drive conversions.
- Utilize AMPScript effectively for dynamic content personalization, ensuring a tailored experience for each recipient.
- Build and manage data extensions, develop SQL queries to segment and maintain contact lists, and set up automations for streamlined campaign management.
- Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and maintain clean, accurate email lists.
Performance Tracking & Optimization:
- Monitor key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine subject lines, content, and CTAs for optimal performance.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
Strategic Contribution:
- Align email strategies with broader marketing objectives.
- Identify opportunities for innovative campaigns to enhance audience engagement and ROI.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Sales Marketing Cloud Certification
- Proven experience in email marketing or digital marketing roles.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting campaign data and trends.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and responsive email design principles.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with B2B and B2C campaigns.
- Familiarity with SEO, PPC, or other digital marketing channels.
- Graphic design experience with tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
