The Email Marketing Manager is a critical player in the development of our guest communications. This job is for a critical thinker with a creative mindset committed to bringing customer relationship management success to Atlantis Paradise Island. The Email Marketing Manager will play a key role in the development of guest communications throughout the customer lifecycle with a focus on Email, SMS, Mobile messages and Website content.
The candidate will be customer focused, helping to deliver content that will differentiate Atlantis from the competition and drive loyalty, engagement and revenue.
Job Description:
- Oversee the day-to-day development and deployment of all Email, SMS and Mobile messages, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Implements and tests all Emails and SMS messages on ESP platform – Marigold Engage or other
- Utilize HTML to build and update email templates, maintain brand consistency and optimizing performance
- Utilize CMS to develop website content and landing pages to support all email and SMS messages
- Build audience segments and filters for targeted Email and SMS campaigns, optimizing reach and effectiveness
- Run A/B tests throughout channels to optimize and improve performance
- Ensure all Email, SMS and Landing page projects are developed in a timely manner to meet scheduled deployment dates
- Collaborate closely with brand, on-island, and casino marketing teams to develop content and messaging for Email, SMS and Mobile.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agency partners in the creation and development of email assets
- Analyze competitors’ content, messaging and distribution tactics
Criteria:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in creating high-volume, fast-paced Email and SMS campaigns
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Business or Marketing or equivalent experience
- Strong Responsive & Interactive HTML and CMS skills
- Background working in an advanced email platform such as Selligent, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, MailChimp or other ESP’s
- Experience testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing across multiple browsers, platforms, and email clients, including the use of tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid
- Thorough understanding of Email, SMS and Website performance metrics and benchmarks
- Has a creative mindset to help brainstorm and develop new creative approaches to guest communications, campaigns, and promotions
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate and work in teams, as well as ability to work independently; approachable, ability to work with limited supervision in a very dynamic environment
- Be able to multitask and handle rapidly shifting priorities, short deadlines and must have the ability to be responsive under time pressure with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Hospitality experience is a favorable and should have a passion for travel
